I read this book for work, about a month after getting trained in how to use EMDR (the psychotherapy technique this book focuses on). Getting Past No Getting Past No is a reference book on collaborative negotiation in difficult situations, written by William L. Ury. The book is chock-full of stories of people who have been helped by EMDR, but both the author and I want to make something very clear: All of the cases presented in the book were of people who were assisted by trained EMDR clinicians. Each example is an indicator or at least provides some ground to think about things that.
